Do you charge extra for custom orders?
No, we don’t charge extra for custom orders. When you schedule a pickup, you can specify your preferences, including water temperature, fabric softener or dryer sheets, and whether you need certain items hung on hangers. Your laundry, your way—at no additional cost.

We offer pickup and delivery services Monday through Friday with three convenient time windows:

Do I need to be home when I have a pickup or delivery scheduled?

What do I put my laundry in?
For your first order, simply use any large, sturdy garbage bags that can hold your clothes securely. To make things easier, we’ll return your clean laundry with a durable, reusable laundry bag, which you can use for all your future orders.
I forgot that I had a pickup and didn’t leave my laundry out for pickup. What do I do?
Our system is designed to help prevent this with timely email and text reminders. However, if you do forget to leave your laundry out, please note that we may charge a missed pickup fee to cover driver costs.
Can you pick up from one address and deliver to another?
Yes, we can! It’s one of the great perks of our service. Many of our customers add multiple addresses to their account—whether home, work, or elsewhere—and choose the most convenient pickup and delivery locations based on their schedules.
As long as both addresses are within our service areas, we’re happy to accommodate.
I want to use Friendly Laundry Service for my family and also my elderly parents who live in their own house. How do I do that?
That’s a thoughtful way to care for your loved ones! You can easily add your parents’ address to your account and select it when scheduling a pickup.
Please note that our system currently supports one weekly or bi-weekly scheduled pickup per account. However, you can always schedule additional pickups for, in this example, your parents at the lower subscription rate whenever needed.
My home exterior is not secure to leave a pickup outside. Can I still use your service?
Absolutely! We understand that every customer has unique needs. In our portal, you can add special instructions for pickups and deliveries, whether for all orders or just specific ones.
Whether you live in an apartment complex or prefer to leave your laundry on a back porch, we can accommodate your preferences to ensure a safe and convenient experience.
How quickly can I get my clean clothes delivered after a pickup?
Our standard minimum turnaround is next-day delivery, which most customers prefer. However, if you’d like a different schedule, such as 2-day delivery, we can easily accommodate that.
Please note that Friday pickups are delivered on Monday.
I need another laundry bag like the one provided after my first order. Can I get another one?

Do you wash my clothes with other orders?
Never. Your laundry is always washed separately, ensuring it stays completely separate from other customers’ orders.
Do you separate whites from colors and darks?
Yes, we do. Each of our staff members has over a decade of experience, ensuring your laundry is expertly handled.
If you have specific preferences or would like a particular separation, you can bag your laundry accordingly and include instructions for us.
What types of detergents, softener and dryer sheets do you use?
We use a hypoallergenic, unscented detergent that’s tough on stains but gentle on your clothes. For softener, we use Suavitel, and for dryer sheets, we use Bounce.
These options are optional and can be customized in your account settings for all your orders.
Do you only fold or can you hang some of my clothes?
Most items are folded by default, but if you prefer certain pieces to be hung, we’re happy to accommodate. Just specify your preferences in the order instructions.
Many of our customers, especially those with uniforms, appreciate having their clothes returned on hangers, ready to wear.
